Profile
- Jordan Eckerling Landscape Design is a one-man Landscape Design Company located in Los Angeles, specializing in unique and easy-maintenance designs for the California lifestyle. Jordan has been designing distinctive outdoor environments for 17 years, often collaborating with top Architects and Interior Designers for a variety of projects from Malibu to San Marino. Jordan creates original and lasting spaces which play to the architectural sensibilities of the project as well as his Clients' specific needs, combining fresh aesthetics with functional practicality.
His work includes drought-tolerant, low-water gardens, traditional formal gardens, lush, tropical retreats, contemporary and minimalist "outdoor rooms", lush succulent gardens, outdoor kitchens and barbecues, garden structures, conceptual pool and fountain design, large estate garden planning and consultation services. Jordan makes use of specific color palettes and architecturally interesting planting to create a natural and strong garden space. He uses texture and form to enhance his Clients' outdoor spaces and often incorporates fruit trees, fragrant plants and edible garden areas into his designs.
-
- During the design process, Jordan really listens to his Clients and strives to not only provide a beautiful outdoor living area, but also carefully considers his Clients' lifestyle, children, pets and entertaining needs as well as ease of long-term maintenance and water requirements.
Jordan stays involved through the installation process, working with a wonderful team of talented Installation Professionals and Contractors. He can recommend Concrete and Masonry Contractors, Woodworkers, Koi Pond and Water Feature companies or work with professionals of your own choosing. In addition to Residential Design, Jordans work also includes sports park facilities, childrens play areas, community pool centers and recreational facilities.
